This townhouse kitchen, built in 1986, was inefficient in its use of space and had a cramped feel and cluttered look about it. Katheryn designed a new floor plan that switched the placement of the refrigerator and range, putting the visual focus on spacious custom-built glass-front cabinets flanking a modern chimney hood. She redesigned the pantry for more storage space, added a bar and wine rack and new lighting elements. The result is a fresh, updated kitchen-dining area that provides a wonderful gathering place for family and friends.
